Tuna is a pelagic marine fish, This fish is a reliable swimmer (once measured to reach 77 km/hour). Unlike most fish which have white flesh, tuna flesh is pink to dark red in color. This is because tuna muscles contain more myoglobin than other fish. From the texture of the meat, skipjack tuna has a smooth texture.
